Your grievance has been filed. What happens next?

Save the appeal number and confirmation. ARC reviews timely applications after the filing period closes, and the review process can overlap with the next assessment cycle.

You may receive a notice or offer

ARC can communicate electronically through AROW when electronic correspondence is selected. Some notices require a response, so homeowners should keep their AROW email address current and read ARC communications promptly.

How long can the process take?

For the 2028/29 cycle, Nassau County’s published calendar shows ARC review from March 2, 2027 through March 31, 2028, followed by publication of the final roll on April 3, 2028.

What does GrieveItNow track?

For clients, we retain the filing status, filing date, ARC case number when available, and outcome in the client record so the process does not disappear into an email inbox.

Official filing dates and procedural references are based on current Nassau County Assessment Review Commission and Department of Assessment materials. County notices and rules control if they change. Educational information is not a guarantee of a reduction.
